As the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), Okul Store processes the personal data you share through our website as described below.

1. Personal data we process

• Identity: first name and surname.
• Contact: phone number, email address, city and district.
• Application details: location status, retail experience and the information you write in the message field.

2. Purposes of processing

• Receiving, evaluating and concluding franchise and dealership applications,
• Contacting applicants and responding to requests and questions,
• Evaluating custom production and partnership requests from schools,
• Fulfilling legal obligations and using records as evidence in potential disputes.

3. Legal grounds and method of collection

Your personal data is collected electronically through the forms on our website and processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with the data controller’s legal obligations, and the data controller’s legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.

4. Transfer of personal data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with our authorised employees and business partners involved in evaluating your application, and with legally authorised public authorities. As the servers of the providers we use for hosting, form delivery and email (e.g. Cloudflare) may be located abroad, your data may be transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. Google Fonts is used to display fonts on our website.

5. Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and by applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and, where the conditions are met, its deletion or destruction; to request that such operations be notified to third parties; to object to outcomes against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
